My name is Satine, and I have a Master of Arts degree in English from Aarhus University, specialized in online communication. I am self-employed. I chose to start Sleipnir Translation & Editing after working as a freelancer for more than 10 years. I chose the name Sleipnir because it reflects my Nordic home, and it symbolizes my great interest in horses and language.
As a freelancer, I have gained experience with many different formats and fields, working for both individuals and businesses.
To me, no detail is negligible, because when it comes to communication, precision of language is crucial. Language contributes to creating an identity or a brand, both online and offline, and the signal it sends must be taken seriously.
My work and Sleipnir are based on four core values: efficiency, precision, love of language, and customer service.
Being self-employed, I am hands-on with every single project, and I follow it from start to finish. For you as a client, that means one contact, one set of eyes through the process, which means continuity throughout the duration of the project.
It is important to me that all clients receive the exact product they want, and then some.
